guys how's it going today I wanted to talk to you about why I canceled my Direct TV normal package that they had with a couple receivers to DirecTV now so I've been with DirecTV for three and a half years you know after my first year the price nearly doubled then I had to call him up every few months and say hey guys my bill went up again because my promo ran out whatever it was okay well we'll give you this new promo for six months and you know three months later another promo right out and price went up I was calling these guys back every few months having to fight for a better price I got sick but after the last couple years of doing that you know and oh I guarantee your price to be good for a year at this price no it wasn't six months later one promo expired I've call back then there was the yearly increase that went up a few bucks here and there then they started charging more for the receivers it was just a joke so I looked into canceling it I ended up going with cable I didn't

like that except the channels weren't in HD that I had before with DIRECTV so DirecTV definitely was the best option for me but I wasn't watching many channels so I actually went with this there are 60 channels live channels 35 bucks a month let me just scroll down here and show you guys what channels they are so hopefully you can see that it's kinda hard to get it to zoom in there but 35 bucks a month you got 60 channels the ones in the bold white are the ones that you get now with that that plan we watch a lot of Disney Nick what else we watching there some lifetime we're not lifetime discovery we we have FOX NBC those the local once I get in my area right now we watch National Geographic NBC again we watch most of those USA Lifetime channel hallmark channel's please if you look at the $50 plan you can see it does give you just a few more channels to watch she can get up here with a little more 460 so I was spending about 80 bucks a month from Direct TV on my you know two receivers so this one here if I went to sixty yet still we see them and I get a lot moreSwitching from DirecTV to DirecTV NOW - Best Streaming Service
channels here which I might actually looked at doing that if I decide I'm gonna stick with this which I think I am it's worth it one thing I noticed was I actually get a lot better view on my TV's it's sad to say but the streaming that I have I have 60 Meg's coming through of internet I have a fiber and I get better quality picture coming through than what I got through my receivers let me just show you the receiver that I have that I was using so maybe you guys have something comparable so this was my receiver it's about three and a half years old whatever not it's HD but not I didn't do the DVR I didn't do the 4k this was the receiver that I had and and it was good I liked it and I have a 4k TV I just bought a few months back and pitcher was good you know 65 inch pitcher was great on it but when I was switched to the streaming service and I put on my basic channels there you know the even the cartoons came in so much clearer when I switched to the you know sports apps they were a lot better you know once in a while my internet would I wouldn't say buffer but it slow down for a minute or get a little grainy err from watching it and it was you know obviously I had you know my phone go on my wife was on a phone maybe kids were streaming some movies you know on their tabletsSwitching from DirecTV to DirecTV NOW - Best Streaming Service
whatever so but overall it actually did a really good job so when I when I look at my TV now the 65 inch and I watch a channel that I watched before it's just night and day difference it's like I see a whole different different TV that I had a month ago when I had the basic receiver so maybe that's half the fault that I had a crappy receiver from DirecTV but they wouldn't give me a new one unless I want to sign a contract and then you know pricing would go up in a few months I'd be stuck with receiver I didn't want then once they found out I had a 4k TV they're like oh well you got to get the DVR package to get 4k which is gonna be like another 30 bucks a month why in the world would I spend over $100 a month for channels I'm only watching like 30 channels on so to me the best package at this point is the $35 I do get some basic channels I get my MBC I get Fox some reason my CBS doesn't come through but I have my digital Tennant gives me that so playing a little bit of you know back and forth in the input on my TV I do have to do that to get to my channels but overall it's a better package for me so I would recommend moving trying out directory now before switching over to somebody else that you you're not sure what you're going to do so to me it was worth it right now they had a special going let me just see if I can pull that over here for the celebrate our first month for six with sixty channels to get it for ten bucks so this first month I got four ten bucks and like I said I'm sticking with it I'm gonna go for the $35 package I made up to the 50 or the 60 at most if I decide to stick with it so definitely you got to have some good internet like I said I have 60 Meg's I've only had it buffer a few times for a few seconds and that's when I've got four or five devices running at the same time who knows what's you know streaming on the kids devices if I'm watching something or you know surfing channels so but I do have couple chromecast one of my TV so I can you know watch two different channels at once through two different chromecast I put it on my wife's phone my phone put I'm on the kids tablet so we leave they can still get on it one thing to know here it's kind of funny that on a normal chromecast app if you leave a network it cuts off and you know goes off but with this DirecTV now I can still Aleve that the channel stays on all day it'll just run all day no matter if I leave for the Hat leave the house and come back a few hours later it's still there now I think I might because I have it on another device but for the most part it's been working really well so guys bottom line is look at DIRECTV now if you're looking to get rid of DirecTV go a month-to-month get better channels if you got a good internet connection and you got some you know chromecast's it's worth it it's not any difference and I'd show you but it's not gonna really show how much difference on here um I can go to the website and I can watch this I can watch it on my phone when I'm off the network it's great I have no problems with it it's been it's been awesome so I recommend if you're getting ready to DIRECTV look at their DirecTV now the channels line up like again if you're going to spend 70 bucks with DIRECTV you're probably gonna get these all these channels here anyway so it's probably gonna be cheaper in the long run to do this route if you don't need it you know a few lessels fall off and you go to that each plan but for me right now the 30 or maybe the 50 I haven't decided if I'm going to move to that but there's only a couple channels there that I'd even pick up for 15 more bucks a month it's not worth it you know I'd probably jump all the way up to the 70 if I'm gonna I'm gonna do that so but hopefully CBS will start working in my area that's only one I'm kind of down on because we have a few channels we watch their ABCs not on the list in mine local network either but it shows it here so I don't know when those will come on but if you're a big local you know watching these channels you maybe check it out first to do the first month trial whatever it is and before you commit to it fully but I give a full recommendation for DirecTV now from switching from the normal DIRECTV channels are better in my opinion no |

complaints at all better picture on a lot of the channels I was watching there's hardly any buffering with a good internet connection obviously but definitely give it a try hopefully you guys like this video thanks guys real quick I just wanted to show you inside the app itself so when you look when you get in here you can kind of see what you've had on last what's streaming right now you have your shows down here you can go and watch any of these that you've got within your packaged movies different things are available networks obviously I usually just go home and then I go up to guide and then in alphabetical order down here is where all your channels are at so let's say if we want to watch storage wars we can click on that as it going there we go so now it's casting to my master bedroom TV just like that just change his channel same with this one and now Armageddon's on in my bedroom third channel they're just that quick I mean it's not as quick as turning it on your your remote you know in your previous thing but this works really well so if I want to stop casting that watch this this will actually start playing for me here on my phone so we'll just push pause there so we don't get any copyright but you can see that want streaming back go back there now you can see I've got two options one is my family room wants my master bedroom so now we're gonna go back to my master bedroom put on my TV they're just that fast it's it's watching they're so alphabetical order I like that you know what channel you're looking for just scroll down go to ESPN push that and there it is now it's VSP ins in my room if I want to see what's coming up next I can just scroll over and it'll show you okay I got sports dinners coming up next for pardon the interruptions there Iron Chef is
next I can click on that it'll show you what I am sure the chef is next a little bit about it the only thing I don't like is when you're on this channel here the current current channel let's say you want to watch something on hallmark well you there's no way that I found yet that I can actually read what's what the novel romance is about besides clicking on it but there's not a you know I think synopsis or whatever you want to call it of it so maybe I'm missing something there but overall I like this app it's easy to use hopefully you guys if you've tried out DirecTV now you'll see this you'll like it and it's it's a very easy app to use so appreciate you guys for watching Thanks
